What a joy to surprise Carlo and Anne-Marie for their 50th wedding anniversary at the home of Emmanuel and Souheila on Sunday 31 March.
Twenty brothers and sisters had 'hidden' themselves in the living room; when the jubilees arrived, everyone began to sing and applaud "Thanks be to God." After a glass of bubbles, Carlo and Anne-Marie were honored with words that came straight from the heart, after which they could broach the 'gateau'.
May they serve as an example and encouragement for the whole of our community for a long time.
